Drill of the Week: Arrow Pattern Dribble

Arrow Pattern Dribble   Left Foot

Try this week’s drill!

Create the 12-15yd dribbling lane shown with one cone on both sides of the dribbling lane and add one cone directly in the middle of the lane as well. Using only your left foot, dribble the ball forward to the middle cone. Sole Roll the ball to the cone on your right then dribble forward to the other side of the lane. Turn around and repeat using your left foot and following the same pattern.

Born and raised in Barcelona, studied Sports Science at Catalan Sports National Institute (Barcelona University), specializing in Soccer Performance. Holder of a Pro Soccer Coach License, I've worked in 4 different countries (Spain, Italy, US, México) as a Soccer Coach. Currently at Club América since 2021, but having worked at other clubs such as FC Barcelona. I like to think that our job as coaches is to help players reach their 100%. And the best to do so is provide them the tools necessary to make 1) the right decision and 2) the right execution. I like that our players understand not only WHAT we are doing but WHY we're doing it and HOW we are going to do it and WHEN.
