If you have been following Blayze for a while now, you know that one of the best ways to get ahead of your competition and improve your skills is by working with a private soccer coach.💪
To all of our amazing athletes, thank you for trusting Blayze with your soccer development! We hope you are enjoying all the amazing insights, drills, and sessions with your Blayze coach.😀
Some of you want more and have asked, how can I get more out of my Blayze coach? This week, Blayze coaches Sarah Woldmoe and Cassie Miller share their insights on how you can dive deeper into your personal training. 🥅
⚽Send in your game video to be analyzed by your coach. From here, your coach gives you direct feedback on what you do well and what you can improve upon. Game video helps your coach design a weekly training program that aligns with your overall soccer goals and what they see in the game footage.
⚽Set goals! At the beginning of each week, set a goal on how frequently you want to train and what skills you want to work on. Use the Blayze Athletic Development Planner to fill in the calendar with the Blayze training drills, any sessions you have with your private coach, team training session, and write out 2-3 achievable goals.
⚽Come prepared for your individual training session the same way you would if you were going to team practice. You want to have the right mindset and attitude to focus on your skills and the development plan. Just because you are working by yourself does not mean that you should not take it as seriously as if you were working with a team. Bring water and a snack if you plan on being outside for a longer period of time.
⚽Ask Questions!! Ask your Blayze coach a ton of questions. They are here to help you, but they are not mind readers. If there is a part of your game you are struggling with, ask for help. If you need clarification on a drill, ask for help. If you don’t know what your team coach meant when he gave you feedback, ask your Blayze coach to see if they can point you in the right direction.
⚽Stay in touch with your coach through the Blayze messenger. Let your Blayze coach know what your goals are and how your training sessions are going. If something is too hard, too easy, or doesn’t make sense, let your coach know so they can help adjust your training.
We hope you find these tips helpful.👍 If you have yet to work with one of our Blayze professional soccer coaches, now is a great time to explore your options. Tap the link below for more details!
